Our Presentation back in HK - 7 Jun 2010

GSE teammates all arrived Hong Kong safely on 4 June 2010.
The little incident was Joe's and Pauline's luggage were missed during transit in South Africa. They have to wait for 1-2 days, but luckily the airline sent the luggage directly to their home, they no need to carry +30 kgs heavy bags :-)

On the 7th of June, we have got a chance to do our 1st presentation in the Joint General Meeting of 6 rotary clubs. One of the rotary club is Joe's sponsoring club: Rotary Club of New Territories.

It was a wonderful arrangement that we were so thankful to district and involved rotary clubs.
They provided us a very nice venue to share our story in Brazil.

By the way, you can see from below picture that, our District Governor - Ada Cheng was ALWAYS supporting us !!!! You are the best !!!

We kept sharing for over 1 hour, every picture and video that we brought to the audiences, they share our experience as well our friendship that built with all Brazilian friends and families.

It is quite amazing to look at an overview about what we have gone through in 4 weeks GSE program:
Club Visits : 25
Presentation : 22
Vocational Visits :   34
Yes, we have done 34 vocational visits !!! unbelievable. Each of us was hosted by 6-7 families in Brazil.
Once again, this credit all goes to District 4420 - Rotarians, families and friends.
You all are FANTASTIC !!

After our presentation, the Rotary Foundation Chairman - Kenneth Chow was very kind to announce that all GSE members are invited to be the member of Rotary Foundation Alumni Association.
We have the honor to have District Governor Ada Cheng to recognize that with a pin.

In the end, we sincerely thank District Governor Ada Cheng, who built the connection with leaders in rotary District 4420 and made this GSE come true.

  1. Thanks, Fernandinho. All preparations by District 4420 made our team performs well. Special thanks for you and your family's great great help for the farewell dinner. I think it was too much work for Nubia and your parents-in-laws.
