In December 2023, old friends met again after 13 years. Katia and Douglas, who had hosted Joe in São Caetano do Sul, Brazil, were reunited with the SUN Amigo team in Hong Kong. We had a special guest this time: PDG Ada Cheng, the most important person behind the scenes who sent the foursome to Brazil, was invited to join us at Tai Po, the homey home of Annie and Joe.
We had a unique hot pot dinner, which was a first for Katia and Douglas. We had a great time catching up on old times, reminiscing about our past experiences and reliving fond memories. Despite the passage of time and the appearance of white hairs, our friendship never faded. We still chat as we did 13 years ago, enjoying cups of coffee at 11 in the evening. We never wanted to say goodbye, but instead wished our family and friends in São Paulo good health and happiness.
