Safe Home - 4 Jun

We were safe home on 4 Jun after a 24 hour flight with one connection at JNB. The surprise for us when we were landed was...... three out of four of our check-in luggages were missed and we can only claimed one piece of check-in luggage that contained the Samba Costumes on our arrival. The luggages were returned a day later with a delivery to our home directly.

Here were all luggages we have on our arrival. Joe has only his hand baggage. Ha ha.... A special ending.

Don't Say Goodbye Farewell Dinner

It was the last day of the group activities. Yolanda and Kenneth would go back home on 30 May. With a great help by Fernadinho, Joe's host dad at Santo Andre, we organized a farewell party at the self-service club house in the apartment building. Joe devoted his city tour time to prepare his signature dish, curry vegetable and pork rice. Yolanda, Pauline and Kenneth had a quick visit at Liberdade, Asian Town and shopped for some food to prepare pork and vegetable dumplings for dinner.

We have a joyful dinner with all friends in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They all enjoyed the food and chats with each other. We sang a Chinese song for our beloved guests.

Team B prepared food in kitchen.

Fruitful and busy days

The team was working to update the blog and prepare for the presentations.

It is only the 5th day we were staying in Sao Paulo, but everyday it is full of programmes that make us think that we have stayed here for more than a week.

The people in this district are all very friendly, they like to arrange more things for us to explore.  It just felt like that we have 30 hours a day.  All days are packed.  Usually we came back to the host family at midnight.  We really hope to have 48-hour a day.

Our big challenge here is the delicious food that we have all round the clock.  We worried we need more exercise when we come back home.  We will have a special feature on the food in Brazil very soon.

We apologize if we could not update everyday.  We will try our best to update you.
