We arrived Sao Paulo after a 26-hour flights. We were so excited to meet the GSE Chair Thais and Andrea, the host mom of Yolanda at the airport.
Our first stop in Sao Paulo is a supermarket. It was very interesting to see the difference of supermarkets in HK and Brazil. A warm welcome was send by the colourful cakes and Pinga, a bamboo spirit.
We then had a very warm welcome dinner at a typical Brazilian steak house, Dinho´s. The bar tender showed us how to make a Caipirinha (bamboo spirit cocktail). We met lots of Rotarians and they were all very friendly. The people, the food, the restaurant.......all makes a good start to our GSE programme.
